Each spring and fall, StreetSaver invites users to join a week-long event packed with industry insights and hands-on learning. We share the latest technology developments, explore pavement management strategies, and connect you with experts in the field.

Pavement Distress Survey Workshop
This live virtual workshop serves as a prerequisite for becoming certified under MTC’s individual Rater Certification Program (RCP). It is not a requirement for vendors seeking to certify their technology under MTC’s Technology Vendor Certification Program (TVCP).
This online workshop will be held a week prior to field exams and will be close to an 8-hour course with occasional breaks. The instructor will be Dr. DingXin Cheng, with the California State University and the California Pavement Preservation Center.
The objectives covered in this workshop:
– Learn how to identify eight AC pavement distresses collected per MTC’s modified ASTM D6433 standard
– Learn how to identify inspection units used for pavement condition inspections
– Learn techniques and best practices to ensure quality inspections of pavements
– Perform actual surveys of an AC pavement section
– Learn the five steps for calculating the PCI for an inspection unit
